Shadowlake Village Cohousing

   Our house plans were developed specifically for Shadowlake Village by Architectural Alternatives, our project architect, to provide livable and affordable homes in a range of styles that promote our cohousing goals.

Our 33 homes are a mix of townhouses, duplexed pairs, and detached single-family houses.

The standard plans:

• Plan A is used for the 4 townhouse units, our smallest and most affordable units.   This plan was specially designed for the extra-narrow townhouse lots.
   
• Plan B was designed in both detached-house and duplexed-pair versions and in different footprint sizes.  Because its design was so flexible and provided the most options, this has been our most popular plan for both duplexed and detached homes.
   
• Plans C, D, and E were designed and priced as more economical 2- or 3-bedroom duplexed-pair units.

  These 3 plans were developed to meet the housing needs of single persons and/or couples on an affordable basis, and to fit the different physical characteristics of our lots which have natural variations along our ridgetop and going into our woods.
